so, i am driving up to decatur on easter to see bess rogers, allie moss, and allison weiss for a number of reasons. (1. that is as far south as allie and bess are coming. 2. when else will i get to see three singers i love on one stage? 3. jenny just announced the first leg of her tour and she is only coming as far south as virginia. 4. fuck you, virginia. 5. the last time i saw jenny, i actually had a mild seizure when bess walked on stage cos i wanted to see her so badly. 6. i like roadtrips. 7. easter is the most rock n roll holiday.) mostly those reasons boil down to me being dumb, but i don't care. it's only 8 hours each way! (i am skipping work on monday, obvs.)

so i was debating going up on saturday and just hanging out in decatur/atlanta, doing some sightseeing, etc. i've never really done any touristy shit in the south. but then i noticed that they are playing in nashville that saturday, and nashville is only ten hours away, so i could theoretically do both shows! which is extra awesome, because who the fuck knows when any of these people are coming back south?

here's where you come in: PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A BAD IDEA. and while you're at it, talk me out of getting bangs.

why can't i find a download or even streaming video from the time josh jackson hosted snl? with nsync as the musical guest? is it because i am more obsessed smarter than imdb?

for the record, this episode contained a musical guest appearence that i described in alarming detail to imthelobster tonight. thinking back, i think that snl ep is what actually made me a (very very closeted) nsync fan. possibly because i watched my vhs tape of the episode a LOT. and then i taped the "bye bye bye" video and watched THAT a lot. and then i taped a destiny's child video and watched THAT A LOT AS WELL.

this entry is quickly becoming a study in my very embarassing teenage years. too bad i never took photos of my obsession folders (of which the joshua jackson folder was only one of MANY) so that i could share with you all how very fucked up my sense of shame was in high school. i mean, i seriously carried around a folder PLASTERED with joshua jackson's face, yet i wouldn't have admitted to liking nsync if you had held a gun to my head. FUCKED. UP.

i am very chatty tonight. SORRY.

last night, i somehow accidentally downloaded some very persistant spyware, and despite the fact that i have uninstalled everything i could find, run adaware at least 10 times, and deleted my history, cookies, and temporary internet files, i am getting excessively obnoxious pop ups every five minutes. literally. i cannot figure out how to fix this, and i might have broken my (tomato nation) screensaver in the process, and GRRRRR.

on happier notes, i gave two weeks notice tonight (YAY YAY YAY!) and i watched degrassi and instant star. HAHA LIZARD FACE GOT MOCKED! oh man. and i totally want to download all the music from instant star. let's not discuss my insanity, k?

AND, this may never happen again so i'd like to call attention to it here: i used logic instead of crack when discussing harry potter with getaway_machine! but then i went back to my normal self and started picturing ginny and luna as hannah and avril (respectively), and seriously, what the hell is wrong with my brain? (ron as elijah is so cute though. heh. SHUT UP!) i am deeply sorry to the owner of whatever journal i posted that random-ass comment in.

anyway. i want to read fic. fic recs, new or old, would be appreciated greatly. i really only read hp and lotrips tho, so. yeah. maybe i'll just open up stuff from my rec lists and read it while i am woefully without internet.
