i don't know who has & hasn't heard the news, but getaway_machine, imthelobster, and i are disbanding the demockracy and, long story short, i am moving into my own apartment on 11/12. (help me name it! i am thinking the cave of solitude. heh. or the hermit hut? i do like alliteration.) it's on obt & central florida (further south on obt than i've ever seen hookers, but not that much further!) and it's a one bedroom and it's less than two miles from my office and it will be furnished with a coffee table that someone from work is making me take. and lots of unicorns, of course. come visit! :D

in completely unrelated news, at what point should i get nervous about the fact that mike doughty has not confirmed that he will be at the anti*pop festival? he just announced a whole bunch of east coast dates this week and STILL has not listed this on his schedule! i am going to be so pissed if i spent money on a concert ticket for someone i've never even heard of.
